Eddy Soon is a good friend of mine from college. He’s engaged and asked me to take pictures of him and his fiancee for their engagement time. So, we headed out all over San Diego to take pictures.

I like this one even better because this kid’s giggling at them. I lucked out with a free ‘extra’.
I cracked up when I saw this and thought that it’d be a great background for a bride – to be.
This shot was kind of on a whim, but it turned out pretty cool. I like how the subjects are in neutral tones and the backgrounds are screaming out. I also think the square patterns in the back create a really interesting set of compositions as modular sections of color. It’s always important to keep an eye out for interesting patterns especially for portraits. I got really lucky on this one.
